As described the firekeeper just below firelink is dead. I have no idea why, maybe I missed or killed something I shouldnt have. But either way, how do I upgrade my estus flask now? I got the fire keeper soul from blight town but since she is dead I cannot upgrade it. Is there another place to do this or am I stuck with a +1 flask from here on out?

after spider boss you can upgrade your flask joining the convenant in the secret passage where you ring the 2nd bell.

since i played demon souls I know what tricks this game can have :P

there will be many more things you can break in this game.
